Mission Statement
To share the grace of God by providing comprehensive services to residents in need throughout Williamson County, Tennessee.
Graceworks Ministries
Graceworks began in 1995 to help local churches screen requests for assistance and determine the validity of the need for food, monetary help, or clothing. Graceworks is
no longer just a clearinghouse of information. Today, Graceworks is a ministry in its
own right.
Graceworks is an ecumenical, nonprofit ministry funded primarily by Williamson County churches, individuals, businesses, civic group and the Graceworks Thrift Store. (Over 60% of total funding comes from store sales.) Our primary focus is to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, material, and referral services to those in need while helping them break the cycle of dependency on government assistance. Not everyone that needs our assistance is receiving governmental help.
Others who benefit from this ministry are people that find themselves in unexpected circumstances such as the sudden death of a spouse, catastrophic illness, or a lingering disability. Graceworks is a haven for those who have no where else to turn.
In 1999, Graceworks consolidated its operations into one building where we now provide emergency solutions for Williamson County residents. Clients find a Christian based program of love, support, and encouragement.
